Board of Directors meeting
Attendees: Marguerite Elia, President; John Schroeder, Director-At-Large; Ron Colton, Vice President and Julie Kawaye, Secretary.
- Meeting began at 6:04pm, quorum was satisfied.
- January 10, 2016 Meeting Minutes
- Edits/Updates to previous minutes
- Minor wording edits to minutes.
- CAMS-did deduct the 3rd bumper from the invoice; CAMS did not contest.
- City of Sacramento Utilities-Water rate increase went up.
- Cinder Block repairs -received a bid of $2,300.
- Vote to accept bid

- CC&R’s Annual Spring Meeting recommendation
- The CC&R recommends a spring meeting, unless a vote is passed to change it.
- Vote to meet in November, as usual.

- Wisteria Trellis
- 50 percent of the trellis needs to be demolished.
- Bid of $9,000 to repair (but not rebuild). Proposal to close the pool 2 weeks early to do this repair as the pool must be closed due to the dangers of construction and digging.
- Aluminum trellis instead of wood suggested; however not feasible because in the long run, more expensive and far less sturdy.
- Vote to accept bid but add the need to have it painted and replace all dry rot.

- Emergency item-pool filter
- Pool filter is the original filter and over the weekend, it started to leak. Pool maintenance suggested we replace the commercial filter with the highest parts per million filter.
- Pool maintenance will place bid for filter.
- Email for pool filter bid to come.
- Vote to go forward to get bids and respond by email.

- Dropbox Account
- Suggested we use Dropbox to place files such as financials, minutes, etc. for easy and immediate access.
- Will set up account for HOA documents.
- Club House
- Club house needs a roof leaf cleaning.
- Vote to inspect the club house and neighboring house next to the pool.
- unanimous vote: passed.
