HOA Clubhouse Minutes
Board Members Present: Marguerite Elia, Brent Cho, Tim Morse, Jack Schroeder
- CALL TO ORDER
The open meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m.
- Mistreatment of HOA Board Members
There are some homeowners who are chronically abusive toward board members over their obstinate rules violations. The Board must have a united front at hearings. If hearings get out of hand, they should be stopped. If homeowners do not stop their abuse of both the rules and the President, the HOA attorneys must escalate consequences for them.
- Rules enforcement
A standing guard will be hired to watch over the pool and other areas 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. this summer. Residents are illegally sharing their pool passes and keys.
- Mailbox Enclosure
Marguerite is investigating a cage proposed by Jack Schroeder for the mailboxes. The Post Master General has to approve the structure.
Closed Executive Session
- Court cases.
A plan to sell a house with chronic and severe noncompliance issues fell through. It may have been a ruse on the part of the homeowner. The courts will side with the HOA, as all his violations were knowingly in violation of CCRs rules
