Meeting called to order at 5:00 pm.
Introductions
Board Election Procedures
Quorum met through 37 ballots in good standing.
Thirty-seven votes were cast for Marguerite Elia.
Three votes were cast for Ron Colton.
Year in Review
Marguerite discussed legal obligations of homeowners and the HOA.
The rear gate was damaged and has been repaired.
Yeager Lawsuit
The Yeager’s two lots were not annexed into the HOA. They utilize HOA services but do
not pay dues. The HOA won over $43,000 in back dues, plus some court expenses.
2015 Budget
The budget was distributed. The buildings will be painted in 2015.
Questions / Comments
Suggestions from members:
Put foam in the gutters so gutter cleaning will not be necessary.
Put foam under the pool cover so leaves can easily be blown off.
Run the spa year round. Heating is too expensive. Leaves fall into spa and damage the
pumps. Comment was to put removable pool cover on spa. County laws have to be
checked.
Install solar panels for the pool. The Board will get estimates and determine feasibility.
Since reserve is almost fully funded, a member suggests spending more on
improvements. Reserves are specifically allocated for necessities and all of it is
needed, without surplus.
